This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into
early evening. Some of these storms could be strong to locally
severe. Main threats are locally damaging wind gusts, small hail and
frequent lightning. Storms should dissipate overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Another day of unseasonably warm temperatures is expected on
Wednesday with highs reaching the mid 80s to near 90. While heat
index values are expected to stay below Heat Advisory criteria, there
may be increased heat risk impacts for sensitive groups and those
without access to cooling means.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
western Massachusetts, east central and eastern New York and
southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There will continue to be a chance of a thunderstorms through the
late evening hours, mainly for northern areas. Any thunderstorm will
be capable of producing gusty winds or hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Wednesday evening into Wednesday
night, mainly for western parts of the area. There is marginal risk
for severe thunderstorms, with gusty winds and hail being the main
threats.

Additional thunderstorms are possible on Thursday afternoon,
especially for locations south and east of the Capital Region. The
strongest storms could contain gusty winds and hail and
southeastern areas remain under a marginal risk for severe
thunderstorms.

There is also a chance for a thunderstorm on Saturday afternoon or
evening as well.
